Lights, camera, action! In this workshop, students will work in pairs to create their own short stop-motion film using HUE Animation software and webcams! We'll be creating scenes using Lego, building sets and scenery and learning about stop-motion technology. After the workshop, the students' movies will be emailed home and they can also be taken home on a memory stick.
We'll be building and learning to program football-playing robots using Lego WeDo! Students will work in pairs to assemble robots using Lego Education WeDo robotics kits and use the visual drag-and-drop software to instruct the robots to kick and save the ball, and count goals, misses and blocks! We'll also be learning about motors, gears, levers and pulleys.
